Cow Patty 50 this Saturday for COMP Cams Super Dirt Series
Old No. 1 Speedway Posts $5,000 Super Late Model Top Prize

CONWAY, Ark. (08/01/22) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil will sanction the 2022 edition of the Cow Patty 50 this Saturday at Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Ark.).

The night’s finale will be headlined by a $5,000-to-win / $500-to-start CCSDS main event.

Heading into the first event of August for the tour Brian Rickman is the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man atop the series standings. He’s closely pursued by two-time series champion, Kyle Beard who sits 70 markers back in second, while Morgan Bagley is just 90 points out of the top spot in third.

B.J. Robinson, Tyler Stevens, Mason Oberrkamer, Logan Martin, Hunter Rasdon, Scott Crigler, Brandon Carpenter, Jon Kirby, and Dean Carpenter complete the Top 5 in the latest standings.

Tyler Stevens continues to lead the way in the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year battle over Brandon Carpenter.

With 11 events complete this year, there have been eight different winners. Wil Herrington, Brian Rickman, and Kyle Beard have each won two events, while Garrett Alberson, Tyler Stevens, Logan Martin, Billy Moyer Jr., and Terry Phillips each have one win to their credit.

Next on tap is the $5,000-to-win Cow Patty 50 at Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Ark.) this Saturday, August 6. This will be the second-and-final appearance by the series at the 1/4-mile oval in 2022. Billy Moyer Jr. won at Old No. 1 Speedway back in April.

The big night of racing also includes IMCA-Style Modifieds ($3,000-to-win / $150-to-start), and Street Stocks ($500-to-win) Additionally, two grandstand tickets will be drawn randomly for a pair of $200 prizes, courtesy of Moreno Construction.

Grandstand admission (ages 13-and-up) are $20 with kids (ages 6-12) $10. Pit passes (ages 13-and-up) are $35 with kids (ages 6-12) $20.

The pit gate opens at 4:00 p.m. with the grandstand gate opening at 5:00 p.m. On-track action is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

The CCSDS tire rule for the event is a Hoosier 1350 on all four corners with a Hoosier 1600 white-dot right rear option.
