Question what is a "technical racetrack ?"

Winner Mike Marlar said Thursday night after winning that Cedar Lake was "definitely a real technical racetrack," and "these places up here always are."

Slick and wet spots with smooth track and bumps for character.........meaning you have to really work and be on game keeping up with fast groove

OK--Marlar also said: "It was kind of weird because it was an extreme high right against the wall, (turns 1 and 2) and down there in 3 and 4 it was left front up over the tires."
Sheppard commented "I could run top, middle, the bottom where I needed to."
---apparently many drivers stuck to the bottom. Those concrete walls at Cedar Lake are spooky, especially in 1 and 2
I think the banking on 1 and 2 is steeper than 3 and 4 HOW DO YOU SETUP FOR THAT ?????

I’ve only ever heard technical used as an adjective to describe road courses.

Technical means part hammer down/ part slick with some ruts and dips in places. Usually a lot of inconsistencies in the surface that a driver has to adapt to throughout an event.
