For feature teams can change the LR and RR. The RR will be mandated to be a Hoosier LCB Late Model D70 or American Racer HD70 only for the 50 lap feature.

If it was stated in the rules before the race what tire was legal for the race then I dont see what is so confusing. If Chris didnt have the tire listed then he should have been DQ'ed.

He said he talked to series officials and the officials told him the tire he was going to use was legal.

This happens a lot. One example, I race in a series that has a written rule that we can groove our front tires in the cross threads with a #1 blade but they verbally say you can groove with a bigger blade.

If it was listed on what tire was to be used then why did he need to ask someone if his tire was legal?

Because in the last few year with the tire issue the rules have changed some. Maybe he want to clarify what he can use and that was the answer he got.

My understanding was because there was a tire shortage of the specified tire but they verbally said he could run what he had.

IF this is true..and I Stress IF..

if this is true then the series should have discussed this at the drivers meeting to make sure everyone knew before the race they were allowing another tire. If they didn't discuss this at the drivers meeting then they dont need to running a series because they are extremely ignorant.

what's the difference between the LSB and the LCB? I don't have experience with open tires as most of the racing around me is on a spec tire...

Why has all of this time passed and no results ? If the series is that irresponsible enough not to make resolution by this time then there can only be one thing to do by drivers, tracks, and fans alike . That action is to " BOYCOTT " .

That's the same reason I asked the question. Did the powwow take place between Ferguson and Lester?

Racers normally work it out betwixt themselves and save all that boycott stuff to the woke crowds……i like racing too much and am kind of selfish about it sometimes, I’m not boycotting squat.

I hope these two can shake hands and come to a resolution even if they dont agree on what that is…….a lot of miles up and down the road for those two.

Problem is neither one can afford to lose 20 grand, and that is what has to happen to square this (not saying which one, that is between them)....

I never really looked at it like that but you are 100% right……it’s going to be a costly mistake/misunderstanding in more ways than one.

Fergy has won a bunch of money this year. How much has the other guy made?
