Dirt Track Bank Continues Wild West Shootout Super Late Model Sponsorship
Mega Event Set for January 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, & 15, 2023 at Vado Speedway Park

VADO, N.M. (August 17, 2022) — Dirt Track Bank returns for the fourth-straight year to be the title sponsor of the Super Late Model division at the Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts.

The six-race mini-series, which runs from January 7-15, 2023 at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park, will once again be known as the Dirt Track Bank Super Late Models presented by Black Diamond Race Cars, continuing to bring the financial institution’s name to the forefront throughout the mid-winter action that also includes racing for the Modified and X-Mod divisions.

Based in Malvern, Iowa, Dirt Track Bank caters to the specialized needs of all those involved in the dirt-track racing industry. The affiliate of Malvern Bank offers race fans the opportunity to make deposits with a firm that provides services such as loans for racers looking to purchase haulers or expand their motorsports businesses as it strives to fulfill its role as the Official Bank of Dirt Track Racing.

“We’ve been calling Malvern Bank ‘The Official Bank of Dirt Track Racing’ for years, and in our quest to increase the bank’s core depositor base we made the decision in 2019 to take the next step and actually create a completely separate online bank that everyone involved with dirt track racing could call their own,” notes Malvern Bank president Jay Burdic. “Since then, Dirt Track Bank has grown by leaps and bounds, and we’re continuing to grow it and spread the word about exactly what we have to offer. The Wild West Shootout continues to serve us with a great outlet to educate the public on exactly what we have to offer.

“If most race fans are like me, once January rolls around we’re all tired of the cold and snow and ready to watch some racing, whether we do it in person or at home. The Wild West Shootout provides a captive audience, which allows us to get the word out that Dirt Track Bank is unlike anything that fans have seen before, and that their deposits into Dirt Track Bank will be used to fund the race haulers that get our favorite drivers from track-to-track throughout the year.”

Both Dirt Track Bank and Malvern Bank have deep roots in dirt track racing via their partnerships. Additionally, both companies provide financial assistance to teams, tracks, and individuals throughout the dirt industry.

“The support that Jay (Burdic) and Dirt Track Bank provide to motorsports is truly invaluable and having them involved with the Wild West Shootout allows us to continue to grow our event, both professionally and personally. Additionally, they are a great asset to the sport as they support countless tracks, series, and drivers, while also providing financing for the haulers utilized by many of our sport’s race teams,” notes Wild West Shootout event manager Ben Shelton.
