    Default Topless 100

I'd love to see an 86-88 wedge car with modern shocks & tires race against the current cars. Be easy enough to tweak the old 4-link cars to work.

One on the left isn't much different than current car.

Man Davenport's entry to mid-corner speed is unreal. He drives a late model like a winged sprint car.

These cars look like wedge cars with no roofs. Love this track.

It's a lot more obvious without the roof. This track is pretty good until it rubbers. Unfortunately, it usually does for the 100 lapper

The only thing that will make the Topless 100 interesting is flat tires. Tires pop at that joint a lot in the last 25 laps.

Sure do. More tire strategy than a 90s race at Darlington.

There has been some dirt added to the racing surface so it will be interesting to see how much a difference it makes.

Just a boring night of racing at Batesville tonight, this is sadly becoming the norm for SLM.

I was happy for Spencer Hughes getting a second to JD. Been keeping an eye on the young fellow from Mississippi and thinking the potential is there and that he has to get used to the 75 and 100 lappers common in the top level of the sport.

Maybe taking the lid off was key for him tonight.

How many races have been won by a driver pounding the cushion this year in Lucas races? Maybe 1 or 2? Absolutely boring race tracks and track conditions they run on this year.

The format this weekend also sucks. I understand the 2 nights combined add up points and set the feature for final night format even though I prefer heats. But 1 night for 5 g and the features are set for tomorrow already is garbage.

With the roof off the 49, wow. I wonder how much time they have just in getting that body to were they wanted it.

Agreed, I've been watching him since last year and it seems like he has struggled this year until here lately where it seems he's running much better

We desperately need the 44 back in order to give JD some competition. Hopefully we see him back soon.

At present, his posted schedule lists him off each weekend until Eldora. Makes sense since he'll resume the lead in the Dream with the $128K jackpot.

Last night's Outlaw race wasn't any better. At least Lucas avoids Williams Grove and puts on a good show at Port Royal when in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Carrier passed several cars. It looked like there was bottom groove if you knew how to navigate it. Eckert and carrier seemed to be the only ones that knew how to use it.

I won't say it was any better but at least there was some passes made.
