Lets give credit where credit be due ! ! If you read into some of these notes one might get the impression that it is all car is why J.D. is winning so many races ? ?

I'd say both. Dominant race car and a exceptional driver. That generally produces results.

He won the World 100 in GR Smiths gear running the middle groove. JD is something else.

Exactly , was the same when Moyer and Bloomquist was winning all the time years ago, same for Davenport in 2015 and last year with Overton. It will always be way.

Jarred was driving to the front and he hasn't even raced that much. I think he made it up 6th or 7th at one point.

Based on the last few drivers to have dominant years, he’ll be fair to middling at best next year.

First race Jared Landers has been in a car all year- started mid-pack and came to 6th before retiring with overheating issues. It was in one of Davenport’s cars from last year- pretty impressive to me!

I’m no expert but I tend to believe the drivers when they say the droop rule is hurting the racing. Clear air has been around but this year it looks like it means more. Bodies, droop, etc.

I wouldn’t take a sprint car man’s word for anything DLM related.

    Pennsboro,

The droop rule has hurt a few guys that had their blade higher than others last year. It makes absolutely no sense that it would make the racing worse in general. It has not affected most cars at all, and any reduction in the hole punched in the air would be positive, not negative.

I'm the first to say the rule is stupid, but we have to use logic and scientific reasoning to make a good argument.

I’m not expert but when people who build cars and race them professionally say it’s bad, I have no choice but to believe them.
