Dennis Erb, Jr. Invades Fairbury Tonight Fresh Off Top Ten Performance in World 100!

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The 52nd Annual 'World 100' took center stage in the Dirt Late Model universe from September 8-10 at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The three-day extravaganza kicked off with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs - each of which paid $12,000 to the winner. On Thursday night in the opener, Dennis Erb, Jr. placed eighth in his loaded heat race before running sixth in his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him out of the 25-lap feature event. Things went much smoother for Dennis on Friday evening in a similar show, as he timed in third fastest in his group during qualifying before finishing second in his heat race and tenth in the 25-lapper.

When Saturday rolled around at the "Big E," a $55,000 paycheck and the famous globe trophy were up for grabs in the 52nd Annual 'World 100.' Dennis grabbed the second transfer spot through his stacked heat race and later started the 100-lap crown jewel headliner from the outside of the sixth row. The Carpentersville, Illinois standout then fought hard for a top ten performance in the most prestigious race in our industry and eventually crossed underneath the checkers in the ninth finishing position. The Dennis Erb Racing team has only one event on their racing calendar for this week, as they have traveled to Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois for tonight’s lucrative ‘One for the Road’ program. The Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series will roll into #FALS tonight to preside over the $22,022 to win shootout. Each feature starter in the 50-lapper will receive at least a $1,000 paycheck. You can watch all of the action tonight LIVE on FloRacing, while additional information can be found online by clicking on www.fairburyspeedway.com.
