    Default Castrol race at FALS

Well that was a breath of fresh air for a feature race. Heck of a race! Great drives by Frankie an RTJ!

Nice to see Heckanast much less reluctant than in the past to get aggressive. It's showing better results as a result.

That was a good main event.

That's a way to run a Tue night show. Late model feature over at 9:05 pm. Program done about 9:35pm. Two divisions. Get the fans in and out. Other tracks should take notes on how to make it work like Fairbury and FLO can.

And I agree on the sticks. Why does dirt track racing need spotters.

Mid week after Labor Day and school has started? Not a surprise at all.

Because it was live streamed, thus allowing other excuses like school, midweek, gas and Eldora.

most people aren't going to travel for a 1 night Tuesday show.. especially after a week at Eldora so seems like a pretty valid reason...that small crowd is on the locals.

It was far from anyone there. Far from a PDC but a decent crowd for a Tuesday.

Locals around every track can stream too. Do I like the convenience of streaming races-absolutely. Has streaming hurt weekly crowds at tracks-absolutely. The whole local to traveler take is overplayed. To me a local track (Tyler Co.) is over an hour away. Am I considered a traveler or a local who travels.

The backstretch looked pretty full from what you could see on FLO. Glad HH 25 confirmed that. With the car counts I'm sure the pit area had a decent back gate. I'm really curious how Kokomo attendance is gonna be next Monday and Tuesday for their XR races.

A lot of people are not going to go on a work/school night when they can sit at home and watch it on there own streaming device.

Why do they set the camera up on the back stretch and not the front?

Likely because the back is closer. If you've never been there, there is a Horse Track between the covered front stands and the Car Track. The back stretch is preferred by most.
