The 18 was solid entertainment….but he needs to step down from the driving, or he will put tarnish on the legacy. No fan ever went to a race and was disappointed if that bunch pulled their rig in the pits. Even if they rooted against him….they loved him being there. Im the same age he is….in my mind I’m 25, but when it comes to physical abilities….it’s just not the same. Racing a feature race takes a lot of stamina, it just skill.

Congrats on a podium finish. He's still got speed. That win just might happen.

Father time and Bloomer himself has sure wilted the Bloom, but he is good for any track that can get him to come - he seems to have more fans than ever now!

People are realizing how important a polarizing figure is in the sport. Without him, all the after race interviews would just be the same, fake smile and talk while saying nothing, hockey style interviews. I'll take 1 Bloomquist interview over 1000 zero personality Brandon Sheppard interviews.

And some are more mesmerized by the Hollywood entertainment rather than the on track throttle smashing. Today's racefan.🤭

I'm not a Bloomquist fan, but I sure don't care how long he races. We act like it's cool when Delmas Conley or someone races into their 60's, 70's or 80's, but Bloomquist goes a year without a win in his upper 50's and he should hang it up.

Delmas was still winning races to the end. He passed away at 79 I think.
