    Default Magnolia

Never been to or seen on TV a race from Magnolia. What a nice looking place. The Cotton Pickin 100 is on Flo if you can’t get out to a local track tonite and need a speed fix.

There's a couple of top notch tracks/facilities in Mississippi, Magnolia and Whynot. Though I've never been to either but have seen them on streaming and pictures.

Not to mention the track across town from Magnolia, the unique, quirky and very racey Columbus Speedway. Don't think it's open at this time and that's a shame. One of the best prepped in the country when done by Johnny Stokes and should be on everybody's bucket list.

Been watching hit or miss on Flo. I agree with the statement about the nice facility just based on the little I’ve seen from streaming and DoD pictures. But dang if this isn’t a drawn out process…flipped it over nearly an hour ago…flipped it over 30 minutes ago and they were lining cars up on the front straight away…flipped it back over a few minutes ago and they’re just now starting pace laps. Quite possibly the most drug out pre-race I’ve seen in a long time.

Very nice facility, been to the lolmds they used to have in June. Very hot that time of year. Unfortunately looked like the track locked down tonight, turned it on with 5 laps to go.

Yep, It was one lane tonight and, for the most part, a spread out freight train. Bloomquist was about the only car married to the top and slowly went backwards to an 11th place finish.

Lot of Rockets, quite a few Capitals and very few Longhorns with Moyer, Jr. finishing 3rd and a win in a preliminary Thursday the most successful. Clements probably the most popular engine. Whatever happened to the Trackstar cars that were hot in the area a few years back?

Oh, and for wuss, the Magnolia 100 itself is only 60 laps so aren't you glad you didn't head south this weekend?

The Columbus bullring is still in operation they just run a few shows a year but for now it’s still open. Magnolia is one the nicest facilities there is but Stokes has got to figure out something because the racing has went to hell over the last 3-4 years. It either locks down or starts coming apart.
