Dennis Erb, Jr. Gears Up for Huge Week of Racing in Indiana and Georgia

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The Dennis Erb Racing team only had one race circled on their calendar last week, as they ventured to Fairbury Speedway on Tuesday evening, September 13. The Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series presided over the 'One for the Road' program at the downtown Fairbury, Illinois oval and Dennis Erb, Jr. was one of the 42 entrants at FALS to do battle for the $22,022 paycheck in the midweek special event.

The Carpentersville, Illinois star was quick right off the trailer, as Dennis earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session before securing a heat race triumph. After starting the 50-lap feature from the pole position and leading on two different occasions from laps 1-4 and 11-12, Dennis slipped back a few spots late in the distance and was officially placed seventh in the final finishing order. Complete results from Fairbury Speedway can be found online by clicking on www.fairburyspeedway.com.

A huge week of racing action will greet the #28 team from September 19-24 in the states of Indiana and Georgia. Up first will be a visit to Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana with the XR Super Series. The inaugural ‘Kokomo Dirt Nationals’ will be held at the Hoosier State venue and things will get underway later this evening with a $20,000 to win throwdown. A whopping $40,000 top prize will then be on the line in the ‘Kokomo Dirt Nationals’ finale on Tuesday night. You can learn more at www.racexr.com or subscribe and watch LIVE on www.racexr.plus.

The dirt-slinging competition will then shift south to the Peach State over the weekend, as the World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series will preside over the ‘Stateline Showdown’ at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia. A $10,000 winner’s check will be up for grabs on Friday at the Chattanooga-area oval, while a $20,000 to win shootout will close out the doubleheader on Saturday.
