R.J. Conley Rolls to Ike Moler Memorial Win; Conley’s Land on Podium in Iron-Man 40!

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) R.J. Conley, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, captured his third checkered flag of the 2022 racing season last Friday night, September 16 in the 'Ike Moler Memorial' at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio! R.J. stopped the clock third quickest overall during qualifying and won his heat race in preliminary action. He then started third on the grid in the unsanctioned 30-lapper, but wrestled away the top spot on the opening circuit and never looked back in leading from flag-to-flag to secure the $3,000 top prize over Steve Casebolt, Tyler Carpenter, Trevor Landrum, and James Rice. Rod Conley was also in action at MRP, but a wreck in the feature led to a disappointing nineteenth place performance after running fourth in his loaded heat race.

On Saturday evening, September 17, the 'Iron-Man 40' was held at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio and both Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) drivers were in attendance. R.J. timed in third fastest during Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series qualifying, won his heat race, and later placed on the podium in third in the 40-lap headliner. "Hot Rod" knocked down the tenth quickest lap during time trials and ran third in his heat race, but later worked his way past a handful of competitors during the A-Main to record an impressive runner-up effort behind only $7,500 victor Michael Chilton! Complete results from both Buckeye State ovals can be found online by clicking on www.mrpracewaypark.com and www.atomicspeedway.net.

With R.J. Conley slated to take the upcoming September 23-24 weekend off from racing action, Rod Conley will carry the workload alone for the CMI team. The #71R will be in competition this weekend at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana during the 43rd Annual ‘Jackson 100.’ The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will once again preside over the pair of events, which kicks off tonight with a $10,000 to win battle. On Saturday evening, a whopping $20,000 payday will be on the line in the 100-lap ‘Jackson 100.’ Additional information can be accessed online by logging onto www.lucasdirt.com.
