it's not covid. the manufacturers and racing organizations will not get together and make changes to save whats left of late model racing.

regular shows are a quick way to go broke, these days. Theres going to be a bigger draw somewhere within 2 hours of just about every dirt track in America and fans/cars will be drawn there instead of regular pay.

You can't pay what you were paying 15 or 20 years ago and expect to draw a crowd of. Cars or people a lot of tracks can't do that but you have got to pay or go.

I can't figure out why guys who can't run with Davenport, can't adjust their budget to run close to home.

If everyone who can't run with him stayed close to home, only 3 or 4 would be on the road.

130+ in the pits every weekend... Late models, IMCA mods, street stocks, pro stocks, 4cyl... $15 to get in with a packed house every Saturday.

Smart hard working promoters are seeing good attendance almost every weekend……it’s pretty easy to look around and see who those promoters/tracks are.

The current economic ridiculousness is taking its normal organic toll on racers and fans and people are having to make decisions but people are still racing and people are still watching…….or at least where I’ve been this year they are.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

BBQ has it right. We have good regular weekly racing here in the Carolinas. Good crowds and ok car counts.
