Ty Veuleman Memorial at Sabine Speedway Up Next

ROBELINE, La. (10/04/22) – Cade Dillard notched his eighth win of the year on Friday night with a $2,000 American Racer Modified Series (ARMS) triumph aboard his S&S Fishing & Rental Inc. No. 97 Bass Bucks and Birds / CDR Race Car Modified.

“It was another great weekend for us in the CDR Race Car Modified. We got a win on Friday at Ark-La-Tex (Speedway) and backed it up with a runner-up finish on Saturday at Super Bee (Speedway),” Dillard said. “I’m looking forward to taking the Crate Late Model to Sabine Speedway this weekend for the (Ty) Veuleman Memorial.”

Cade Dillard returned to the driver’s seat of his Krohn Farms No. 97 Modified on Friday night for the American Racer Modified Series (ARMS) sanctioned program at Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, La.).

In a field of 38 cars, Dillard’s heat race victory positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the feature. Tracking down early pacesetter Bo Day by lap 16, the pair exchanged the top spot for the next five circuits until Dillard regained the lead for good on lap 23. He went onto win by more than a two-second margin, topping Day, Triston Dycus, Joe Duvall, and Manuel Williams II at the line.

He earned $2,000 for his eighth win of the season.

For another $2,000-to-win ARMS program on Saturday at Super Bee Speedway (Chatham, La.), Cade followed up a heat race win with a runner-up showing in the feature. He trailed Joe Duvall to the checkers with Michael Walker rounding out the podium.
