Thanks guys!
Looks like DOD didn’t learn their lesson the first go around with Roger Sellers. They highly PO’ed him either they reported Huddy was going to Rocket 1. He asked for that announcement not to be made until the following Tuesday. Smoky Mountain was racing that weekend and he wanted to concentrate on that event before dealing with the public obiut Huddy leaving. Who leaked the info doesn’t matter- Roger personally asked for it not to be released when they did.
I agree- I also think Devin is headed to Seller’s- but DOD should be more respectful this time around.
FWIW: I love DOD- it’s great for our sport- but sometimes the news reporting needs to wait for official team announcements.
I don’t know who broke the news first- but someone didn’t hold up to Roger Seller’s request from all parties involved.
It’s not a rant “thank you”!
Mr. Sellers is a fine dude and treats every human being with dignity and respect no matter who they are or where they are from. Somewhere his request was broken and that same dignity and request was not upheld toward him!
That’s all I am saying: call it a rant if you like- it doesn’t matter to me at all- but it does matter to a fine human being and highly respected person in Roger Sellers.
DoD broke the news of the replacement (Hudson) going to Rocket1 early and wasn’t supposed to. Sellers called them out and thus the 71 broke off the Castrol series for awhile.
Exactly: and at the time Huddy was 2nd in the points. The reason he was at 411 was in support of another East Tennessee race track and the McCarter family.
There is a lot of pettiness in the dlm world……world in general these days. Being said, if Mr Sellers specifically asked for them to sit on the story and they agreed they would but didn’t …..well, that’s kind of sheety.
Another clown story. If someone didnt want the story out then why tell anyone? If Sellers agreed to a deal with Devin, told Devin to keep it private until a certain date then only 2 people could have released the info.
Nobody released any information. It was 2 guys talking and said basically what has been said on here, that Sellers makes the most sense. They didn't say it was happening.
I saw that Devin is running at Atomic next weekend and his name was on the entry list for The gateway indoor in early December. Does any one know if he will be in a double down car for those races?

As of right now Hudson says he will be in the Double Down car at the dome.
