    Default AK racing news

Austin Kirkpatrick says he will soon announce good news for 2023. He will be at Cherokee this weekend then at the world finals. I really like him as you all know.

No note at all but just the fact he builds his own chassis and does his own thing makes me want to see him do well.

Since you are a big AK fan: where does the $$ come from for his racing?

I have no idea. I have walked by his truck at a few races but he was busy and I have not talked to him or his crew. From what I know his day job is in NASCAR.

Honestly, he has never done much, even down here locally. He won a udlmc series race once, but was dq'ed for the wrong tire!

While his dad Ken owes several business's and has some money, he isn't racing on his dad's dime contrary to what many think. Austin pays for everything himself and from any product/money he gets from sponsors.

LOL, that's not true. He works at a place close to charlette motor speedway at a company that makes parts for mostly import cars. Nothing to do with NASCAR
