We all talk about the crap aero of slm racing yet I started a thread about it and the p poor racing we see today and it got deleted. Someday somebody is going to figure it out, no fans, then guess what ? It all goes away, then you'll have 1 series charging 50 for GA and these 2 crate series pushing there garbage racing. Whomever deleted my post, remember the fans gave you the position your in today.

WOW. Please do it right XR. The place needs so much to meet today's cars. I say make it flat and widen the corners. You don't need stands, People have sat all over that hillside and the view is great. Pennsboro doesn't Carl Short still have a hand in the place ?

In my humble opinion, XR would be better off buying WVMS and building a smaller track inside the big 5/8th, like a Davenport Speedway. It would be a heck of a lot cheaper and all the required infrastructure is already in place as far as seating, amenities and access roads.....But what do I know???

I'd be willing to bet that this second verse will be the same as the first. Every other year, hope is breathed into Pennsboro but nothing ever materializes. The place is just way too primitive and in need of so much infrastructure. Hopefully there will be modern comforts such as restrooms, running water, lighting and safer access to the treacherous hillside. I just recently got over the effects of dysentery from my last visit there.

Go to a nascrap race. This way your white tennie shoes won't get dirty. They revive that place, you won't be able to get near the place. There frst concern has to be the track, which is a major hurdle to get passed. It has to be widened, the creek is another obstacle. It's been how many yrs ? I won't get my hopes up but if it becomes reality I'll be digging my heels in on that hillside and enjoying a cold one.
