Default Dirt car in Charlotte this weekend.

I see no fans tonight. Will they open up for fans to come in tomorrow and Saturday ?

Stands empty, this is always a back gate race; they do not even try to get people here for it.

The reason I knew they were fans in the stands- my friend from Maryville, Tennessee was there and sent me photos.

This is an odd event for fans in the local area. This is not advertised from what I can tell. I drove by a few years ago and could not believe what I saw. I had no idea a big dirt race was being run the week before world finals.

I guess you could call it a prelude to the World Finals for the lower divisions.

I’m the same way. No interest in modifieds 👍

There a different kind w the subframe frt ends. I'm good w all 3 classes at world finals. I guess as I grew up in the north w the BB mods. I had hard time adapting to the late models when I moved south but I'm good now.

some of the best races I've seen, especially this year, have been UMP style modified races.

Nothing beats the sound of those Big Block Modifieds. It goes right through you.

They started the World Finals a few years ago to work out track prep before the Outlaws. Track has been very good this weekend, so hopefully they can take what they learned and have a great surface for next weekend.

One year my crowd was sitting on Row 43 and there weren't enough clothes in Bass Pro Shoppe to stay warm!

One positive I saw for this coming weekend, they did a great job on track prep this weekend. Even the crate cars were able to move around the track, so hopefully we will see some great side by side racing.
