Growing up in Tennessee I will say Marlar and Owens and that has been true well before their late model days. Davenport and Ricky Thornton have always been super to me in the pits on several occasions.

There are more good guys than bad guys. Several nobody has mentioned.

Sheppy, Huddy seems like a good kid. Josh Rice, Devin Moran, Frankie jr, Satterlee, etc.

Not a driver, but Danny White will run to help literally any car that rolls into the pits for service during a race. Sometimes, he’s on the scene before the car’s own crew is there.

Shannon Babb and Jimmy Owens. Always in a good mood, always has time for a photo with kids or first time race attendees. And say what you want about Pierce that kid will sit there for hours taking photos with fans.

Great points, Loobs. Shannon, Jimmy and Bobby are about as friendly as you can get in the pit area. And as reid boys mentioned, Jason Feger is another racer that has time for all the fans.

As many have said, Babb, Marlar and McDowell, Birkhofer.
I have heard a few retired drivers and current drivers talk about hanging out with Feger. He always seems down to earth and appreciates the sport.
