Kinzer Motorsports Eyes Fall Fest at 411 After World Short Track Championship

(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and his #18 team were in the Charlotte area from October 27-29 competing in the 7th edition of the 'World Short Track Championship' at the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. Last Thursday night, Brandon laid down the tenth quickest lap in Group B during the qualifying session, but was not able to gain access into the 20-lap feature event that paid out $600 to the winner.

At the 4/10-mile oval on Friday evening, Brandon placed fifth in his loaded heat race before moving up two spots to finish second in the B-Main. The Kentucky-turned-Florida native then rolled off from the outside of the ninth row in Saturday's $4,000 to win headliner. During the course of the 30-lap contest, Brandon was able to advance past a pair of competitors on his way to a sixteenth place performance. Complete results from the entire 'World Short Track Championship' weekend can be accessed online at www.charlottemotorspeedway.com.

The Kinzer Motorsports team will enjoy the upcoming November 4-5 weekend away from the racetrack, while they focus on their next scheduled event on Saturday, November 12. The ‘Fall Fest 35’ program will be held next Saturday at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee. A $1,000 first place prize has been established for the victor of the Open Wheel Modified feature race.
