Several of the last 15 North/Souths have been decided in the last 10 laps. It's idiotic to include Florence on this list.

Every race is decided on the last lap...

Portsmouth doesn’t produce good 100 lap races. I’ve seen some stellar 25-50 lap races there being it’s my home track and what not. Agree it sucks for long races.

Add Alltech and Volusia to that list though!
i have to disagree on alltech, it raced good at speedweeks and had probably the best crate race ive ever watched a few weeks ago

Neither does 411 IMO. That place put on one of the better races I seen last year at the leftover. Temps were below freezing both nights and they couldn't water the track at all.

I can't think of many race tracks can probably pull that off and not end being rubber eater. I remember walking in and seeing the track was solid black, then telling my wife we probably should have just went some place warm.

Must have been some mighty slow racing and dusty I would think. It usually takes SOME water to get the rubber to set up.

Glad it worked out, it's a wonder...

No dust at all when it's polished top to bottom.

Must have been frozen moisture coming up to keep the surface sealed with rubber M_R.

It was kinda slow, but it was also very entertaining IMO. We never got a spec of dust on us that night either.

It reminded me a lot of the old black ice Florence days.

Thats a local track for me.

Its rare when its more than one groove!

Its a shame they wont copy Davenport and build a smaller track inside! Wouldnt cost a whole lot!

It didn't rubber. It's not an abrasive track. It was like a 90s Florence track.
