    Default T-Mac Family?

I thought I've heard T-Mac talk about his wife and kids before, but I don't know that I've ever seen them when he is interviewed after a race. Do they not go to the races or just stay out of the camera lens?

They don’t go to races often. They were at portsmouth last year. Not sure if they went this year or not. It’s tough when the kids are in school to get to the races.

Watertown is closer to Canada than most of the states that he races in. They are about to get 4 feet of snow from that big old lake effects storm ! !

Think about the life of a driver racing for a living. On the road all the time, missing family events, living out of hotels and camping at tracks, trying to keep your crew happy, not eating the best foods and much more. Plus who pays the health insurance, contributes to a 401K-retirement fund or pension plan? It's a tough life, for sure.

i think about that everytime someone wants a driver to run a national tour. sometimes the money just does't equal the other costs.

“I’ve never won a race that felt as good as watching him hit a home run”. Had a buddy tell me that once when I asked about missing traveling.
