Mega Event Set for January 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, & 15, 2023 at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park

VADO, N.M. (November 29, 2022) — Georgia-based Merry’s Home Furnishings will once again be the Official Sponsor of the Hot Pit during the upcoming 17th annual Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Greg Merry has been a long-time supporter of the mega miniseries in multiple facets and for 2023 his company will again be the sponsor of the “Hot Pit” work area, where drivers will be able to get any needed service during breaks in the red-hot racing action at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park on January 7-15.

“Greg is a unique sponsor in that he not only attends the event, but he also likes to be involved and help out whenever and wherever needed,” shares Event Marketing Director, Jason Babyak. “He can be found somewhere around the facility during the day, helping to get things ready for the event. Then, at night he helps me out in Victory Lane as our nightly trophy presentation is a job for more than just one person. Greg has even been spotted driving the pace truck. His efforts are never expected but always welcomed and appreciated. It’s people and sponsors like him that make this event a success.”

Merry’s Home Furnishings, formerly known as Merry’s Trash and Treasures, has been the premier furniture store for the Augusta, Ga. area and beyond for more than 50 years. Greg Merry and his brother Brad, who are third generation owners, are determined to continue their family’s history of providing the best quality furniture at the absolute best prices.
