    Default Setting the toe

I was taught an old school way of setting the toe 20 plus years ago.,
Center the steering, lock it down,
Using a long piece of string between jack stands, make the left side tires parallel each other,
    Set toe in rf!

Is this way too antiquated, or is there a better way?

I'm pretty sure everyone locks rf to a standard length given by your chassis builder, typically the same or close to the same length as your rf lower to keep bumpsteer to a minimum with the distance we travel. Toe is then set with the left front.
