Default Why did Steve Francis really leave the Lucas series?

He said it was to get off the road but then took a job with the other national traveling series and is now in the same position with WoO as he was with Lucas. Were they not letting him tech the way he wanted to?

He isWOO late model director- with Lucas he was tech director- very big difference. He has the same WOO job as Rick Swalliewuth Lucas Oul.
But this does not answer your question. Maybe someone else might have more accurate information.

Less time on the road as well, he doesn’t have to drive a truck to the races

Yea he was suppose to come in and get the costs of racing under control immediately. So he now is director of woo slm racing. Yea, let's count all the changes he's made to defer costs. Your touching yourself Steve, because all those changes you said were coming was all a bunch of garbage

Well, they did allow the new Hoosier #1 to be ran (lm10) so you know that saved money by wearing out more tires and since they softer and have more traction you need more motor too. Doesn't that all save money?

Keep in mind a lm 10 hasn't been made for almost 10 years

Now it appears, each team needs to have a minimum of 8 new tires for each race!..... smh

I'm glad they are running and burning up all these 1s. They should have a bunch of junk ones to sell us, but we'll be running 2 and 3.

When Hoosier announced all this crap about saving the racer money, if you believed 1 word that came out of there mouths, you get to spend a week in fly boys basement.
