They dropped a 100k race at Vegas and replaced it on a different date with All Tech. They also dropped a 20k race at All Tech. Not sure what is going on. They claim to have a great point fund and loyalty program coming.

I was really hoping this year they would have a huge schedule with huge payouts. Seems like a lot of their announcements pop up at random and the series changes schedules monthly. Remember they also cancelled the Vegas races they were supposed to have this month. Barry Braun is also heading the Pennsboro project so maybe not enough time to do the series and the track?

I wonder also if they are not associated with SMI anymore since there is no Bristol, Texas, or Charlotte.

They are also supposed to be updating their apps and announcements are forthcoming on that as well. Who knows. I hope they drop their 39.99/month rate with such few events.

Going from last year's schedule to only 10 races is a bit suspect but if they can make it through the year with 3 $100k races and pay out that points fund I guess its still a success.

seems theyre more worried about the imca mod races out west than the late model races.

Anyone know what the points fund and loyalty program will look like? I do think it is super cool/crazy that every race is 25 dollar tickets, even for the 100k to win shows.

The Vegas deal was the racers not wanting to tow out that far. Pussies.

I like that working man series and schedule. Says they will be good purses with heat money and bonuses. I like it. I will be at a few.

That’s a whole lot of travel for a “working man’s series”.

This whole deal is either a money laundering operation or a financial reincarnation of the NRDL.

I'm not gonna study all the schedules together but looked at the belleville race and seems like they are booking races really close to other races where guys will be in the area.

Example belleville race for xr is 6-21

There is smlr races on the 6-16 at Junction Motor Speedway and 6-17 at Beatrice Speedway

Then after the belleville race, these races are in the general area

6/23 81 Speedway WOO Park City, KS
6/24 81 Speedway WOO Park City, KS
6/25 Off Road Speedway WOO Norfolk, NE
6/27 Mason City Speedway WOO Mason City, IA
6/30 CJ Speedway Mlra Columbus, IA
7/1 i70 Speedway Mlra Odessa, MO

belleville to 81 speedway is about 2.5 ish hours
belleville to Junction Motor Speedway or Beatrice Speedway is an hour away from each

    Thumbs up

This was just posted on the XR Events Facebook page a few hours ago.

Honestly why have 2 series? Just put them both under one umbrella & call it the XR Late Model Tour.

The whole XR deal is weird to me. Or at least it’s weird to me now…like I can’t figure the whole operation out. Clearly they have the money to put their hand in a number of different things, without any real long term commitment to anything. As someone who loves dirt late model racing, I’m careful not to knock anyone investing in the sport and providing more events for both the racer and the fan. But my thoughts are that folks are beginning to see through whatever facade XR put on when they busted onto the scene, and it may spell a premature end to their dirt foray.
