Spring Nationals Series Adds Dates at North Georgia Speedway and 411 Motor Speedway

(BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series founder and promoter Ray Cook is excited to announce the addition of two more dates to the series calendar in 2023! Following the season-opening doubleheader at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia and Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia on March 3-4, the popular spring miniseries has added a pair of lucrative races for the March 10-11 weekend. Up first will be a visit to North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia for the $7,553 to win ‘Biddle Ridley Memorial’ on Friday, March 10 before the cars and stars racing with the tour invade 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee on Saturday, March 11 for the ‘Tennessean,’ which will boast a whopping $15,000 paycheck.

The addition of the North Georgia Speedway and 411 Motor Speedway events to the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series schedule ups the number of races in 2023 to sixteen. Ten of the shows will have five figure first place prizes, while six of the programs will be headlined by $7,553 to win features. Following the series finale on Sunday, May 28 at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee, a $10,053 payday will be awarded to the Spring Nationals Series Champion.

On Friday, March 10 at North Georgia Speedway, the pit gates will swing open at 4:00pm and the grandstands will start to allow patrons into the facility at 5:30pm. The season lid lifter at the storied Chatsworth, Georgia oval will also include the 604 Crate, 602 Crate, Drivers Development, FWD, Street Stock, and Crown Vic divisions. The Super Late Model portion of the ‘Biddle Ridley Memorial’ will boast a $7,553 first place prize with at least $500 earmarked for each feature starter in the 40-lapper.

At 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 11, the Driver’s Meeting will be held at 5:00pm with hot laps to immediately follow. Grandstand admission will be $25.00 for adults, pit admission will be $40.00 for adults, and kids ages 12 and under will be admitted anywhere on the grounds for only $5.00. Along with the ground-pounding Super Late Models, the 604 Crate, 602 Crate, Sportsman, Classic, FWD, and Crown Vic classes will also be in competition.

The ‘Tennessean’ will be headlined by a 71-lap Spring Nationals main event at the Seymour, Tennessee facility with a $15,000 windfall on the line. The purse for the Super Late Model special is $53,300 and each starter in the feature is guaranteed at least $700. More information concerning both races at North Georgia Speedway and 411 Motor Speedway will be made available as the weekend nears.
