Claims Second-Straight Crate Racin’ USA Winter Shootout Title

His second win of the season also clinched Cory’s second-straight Crate Racin’ USA Winter Shootout Series title.

“We set fast time and after a really good battle with Hayden Cardwell, we were able to steal the top spot and get the win. We were also able to wrap up the (Crate Racin’ USA) Winter Series title by over 30 points in a short series,” Hedgec ock shared. “We’re going to be building new BMF Race Cars in the shop this week and next, before getting back in the driver’s seat at Smoky Mountain (Speedway) on March 3-4.”

To wrap up the Crate Racin’ USA Winter Shootout Series, Cory Hedgec ock made the short trip to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon to pilot his Noble Knights Construction Services No. 23 BMF Race Car Late Model in the annual Sweetheart.

With time trials setting the grid for the A-Main, Hedgec ock topped the 38-car field with a 14.476-second qualifying lap. Wrestling the lead away from fellow front-row starter Hayden Cardwell on lap 31, Cory led the remainder of the 40-lapper to claim his second win of the season and second-straight Winter Shootout Series title.
