The best era of late models for spectators was when Hav-a-Tampa and STARS were both running.

That was the Lucas Oil and WoO of the day for sure, or the NDRA and the All-Star Circuit of Champions of their day. Crazy how much things change but stay the same....

I miss this series, and this track. Saw some of the best races of my life at Cleveland Speedway. Now just an empty wasted lot.

Miss the Havatampa days at WVMS. I recall them coming there several times.

I remember Pittsburgh having both series, Penn National was HaT and the Pittsburgher was STARS. The good ole days.

The fate of Cleveland is a shame. Best track in the SE after Atomic closed and on par with Atomic more often than not. I was in Cleveland a week or so ago and nature called and nowhere in that area will let you use the restroom. I headed over to the old track because I knew there would be nothing going on but some construction equipment sitting around and some availabe seldom used portable toilets
