Brandon Kinzer Invades Brownstown Speedway Tonight After Runner-Up in Season Opener

(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Following a long off-season, the Kinzer Motorsports team lifted the lid to their 2023 campaign on Saturday evening, April 15 at Wartburg Speedway in Wartburg, Tennessee. The Cumberland Plateau Open Wheel Racing Series also started their season at Wartburg and a $2,000 winner's check was on the line.

Brandon Kinzer earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session and later led most of the laps in the main event. However, the defending Cumberland Plateau Series Champion was passed in lapped traffic for the point and was forced to settle for a strong runner-up performance behind only victor Chris Wilson. Complete results from this contest can be found online at www.wartburgspeedway.net.

The #18 team will look to get one spot better later tonight, April 19 at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. On the undercard of the Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series midweek showdown at the 1/4-mile, semi-banked oval, the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds will race for a $1,000 payday. Brandon has enjoyed several strong runs throughout his career in both a Late Model and a Modified at Brownstown Speedway. Watch every lap tonight LIVE on FloRacing or learn more about the event online at www.brownstownspeedway.com.
