5N was Dustin Nobbe. He was indeed getting payback from the heat which paid nothing to win.

I'm confused, the 5n slid/doored lap car and spins but gets spot back. How's that work?

Far from great race, under powered over priced chassis running around bottom. Florence did it to themselves by bringing in crates

Maybe the track owed giving the spot back to him because they didn't prepare the track just to his liking as it has been said that they do purposely for Josh Rice ? ? LOL !

Looks like the track surface was pretty good, better than usual. Fairly tacky and real smooth to boot. The Crates just "wound out" on the straightaways and ran a non passing race of parity. That happens a lot for crates on bigger tracks.

The car Nobbe doored was not a lapper and Nobbe didn't spin.

As for the crates, I hate it to. But, I can't blame them as their locals quit racing for local race money or flat quit period. When Florence opens the gates with $1 hotdogs and runs a bunch of support classes, they pack the stands. I'd probably do it too, if it was my track. It sure limits the downside. They only have to run the North South to make their year.

Yep, that's been the plan for quite a long time...

Beloved crate racing, NOT. Yea I get it, costs have destroyed what us old timers want back. It's over Johnny, watching that clip was like watching a jr box stk go kart race. The part of crate racing I refuse to understand is the cost of racing, a top crate car at a good paying event is nothing more than a super with a box stk motor between the rails. The racers show up with stacker trailers, many have brand new cars with every pc that a super has, the aero is the same, and yet they race for pennies on the dollar compared to a super.

Whats killing super racing is the big tracks. You need every trick in the book to be a front runner. Motor, aero, it all has to be the best. If not your not running up front. Bring back bull ring racing where you don't need that mega dollar motor, where plastic body panels are going to get scuffed up. Get a cushion on a track so that the first time you jump it those elephant ear noses roll under because on the big tracks they have them set low so the air goes up over the body not under it.

Eliminate all the trickery in the shocks. When everyone saw the Rumley 6 car stand up on its RF it was omg amazement. My rant is over, money has taken over the sport we all love just as it has in all of motorsports. There are folks out there that still want to race, look at the 4 cylinders, pay them a decent purse and they pack the pits. WHY ? Because they love it and it's affordable.
