Specifically I want to find racing for the 1/4 mile. I went to the track once when it had both tracks and I want to reminisce. Anyone know where I can find footage?

Go on you tube type in tri city 1990 theirs a few videos of that.

Cool video, never did get to Tri-City when I was growing up. Like the user name, sure do miss seeing the famed black 99 on the track (first trip to Eldora for me was with Johnson in the black van they pulled with).

Last time I saw a race on the old configuration, it was either a Stacker 2 or Lucas race. Bloomer totally used up EPJ trying to pass him for the lead. TMac might have been a rookie that year. Either Francis or Chub trashed a car in qualifying. Last race I seen on the 1/2 mile track.

I went there one night when Sprint cars were there racing on the 1/2 mile. Steve Kinser came out to qualify and he never let off the throttle and we all looked at each other and said well there's your fast qualifier and sure enough he was that night
