Three drivers including rookie Nick Hoffman are tied for second and only eight six points seperate the top 7. Pretty tight so far.

I'm not a fan, I don't see how Madden doesn't win it still. He's just too consistent and doesn't take risks like the others do. I can see Hoffman being #2 at the end of the year for the same reasons.

I'm still leaning towards Madden for the same reason. Consistency.
But, all it would take is a little luck and a hot streak that a few of them are capable of.

Madden will be tough to beat. Pierce could be if he avoids DNFs. Hoffman has been really impressive.

Don't rule out Dennis Erb, Jr. the defending champ out. He's very consistent, generally stays out of stupid mistakes and has been very fast the last couple of years. No drama with Dennis either. Just gets it done.

Madden is an incredible driver but if you are in the know of dirt late models, its no secret Madden has his own front end package (spindles, uppers, lowers) on his cars.
