That place will need alot of work. Went by and looked at it about 4 years ago, it was in rough shape then.

People must have all sorts of $$$ to re-open old run-down racetracks. Looks like it needs plenty of $$$ to get it ready.

I'm curious about all sorts of people from Cincinatti and Portsmouth. Mapquest says Cinci is 143 miles away and Portsmouth 109 miles. You think all sorts of people are coming from Cinci and Port?

Its about getting cars from Lexington, Paintsville, and Morehead, or any of the surrounding states, OH, IN, and VA are 2 hours away.

Is this the track that was a strip job at one time?

I was being sarcastic. You can't run a track in the middle of nowhere on a night other than Saturday

Are they going to be able to create enough pit and parkiing areas! Seems they were hurting for those when they were open.

The track is smaller than Tazewell and well banked.

They should be able to get some of the 201 crowd since that place is closed.

Good bit of banking. They typically kept it pretty wet. Not much straight sections to speak of. They kinda ran a Tokyo drift all the way around it, most of the time.

Have to wonder how many cars they can draw. Most of the bigger teams around there were traditionally sponsored by coal and logging. All the easy coal is dug, and most of the support industry around coal went tits up. I hope they draw 20’cars I he feature pads, but it’ll be tough.

They probably had to prep heavy or that drift would be in the wall. lol

First time I ever went there it actually went slick. We were awful but drove by most of them. They didn't know what to do.

It was the 3 F track, cause it was either Ferguson ,Fouts,or Fisher that was gonna win.
