    Thumbs up Dirt Late Model Chassis by decade.........

    After reading the "Mark Richards Copied Bullit Chassis" thread It made me think a bit of how many different chassis have there been over the years since the early - mid 1970's and decide to try and make a list by decade as to when each chassis came into existence and each builder(s).

    Who was the very first late model Chassis fabricator ? Seems like I heard years ago it might have been Boscoe Lowe??

    All from the late 70’s early 80’s and all made dirt cars at that timeframe.

    American Made Racecars - 1989 I think.

    That is if we are taking about the same one (Joplin Mo.) brothers Denny and Danny Felker. Dad had a salvage yard. Denny was working for Larry Phillips in 1988 and Danny started building chassis in 1989 if my memory is correct.

    Mopar did have Volare full tube frame kit car specifically for oval racing in the late 70’s.
