Sheppard and Overton have been in the development car this season and I'm willing to bet they put someone they trust to not smash everything up in the seat. Even modern day Pierce hasn't been sending as much sheet metal to the recycling bin lately.

Or Carson Ferguson. Wasn't he practically being groomed for this position? I don't see Shepp going back to a house car deal away from family.

So the Longhorn House Car deal is a little different than, say Rocket, as LH affiliates with an established team owner and provides them support, employees, etc.

    So...

Longhorn Chassis announced today that they will be realigning their Super Late Model House Car Program in 2024 with future plans to soon be announced. While this will close a chapter on Paylor Motorsports and Tim McCreadie’s successful tenure as the House Car Team and Driver, Longhorn Chassis will continue its vested support into Tim’s racing career along with his future endeavors with Paylor Motorsports.McCreadie first joined Longhorn as the House Car Driver in 2017 under a partnership between Longhorn and Car Owners Ann & Carl Myers which would later transition into a joint venture between Longhorn and Donald & Gena Bradsher that began in 2020. While driving for Paylor Motorsports, ‘T-Mac’ would claim back-to-back Lucas Oil Championships in 2021 and 2022 while further growing the influence and recognition of Longhorn Chassis as a Championship contender across all forms of late model racing.“Timmy has been an instrumental part of our success as a company through both past and present ownership,” said Longhorn Co-Owner, Steve Arpin. “When you look at some of the best Championship points racers of this era, he has always found a way to take care of his equipment and put himself in a position to be there at the end. We’re very much looking forward to continuing to support him on into the next chapter of his racing career.”“We appreciate the support of Longhorn Chassis, Steve Arpin and Justin Labonte," said Paylor Motorsports Owner, Donald Bradsher. "We all as a Team have had great success and we look forward to our continued relationship with them. Gena and I are very excited about the future of Paylor Motorsports with Tim McCreadie and the entire 39 Team. We will continue to be a Longhorn Chassis driver/team, just in a different role.”Currently, McCreadie and the Paylor Motorsports Longhorn House Car Team set 4th in points for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series leading into the final month of regular season competition. The Series finale will take place at Eldora Speedway on October 20th and 21st during the 43rd Dirt Track World Championship with the Big River Steel Big Four (Top 4 in Points) each having a shot to win the Championship in the final event.Longhorn Chassis will announce its full 2024 Super Late Model House Car plans in the coming weeks.

Madden would be kinda funny. There would only be one elite Rocket left on the two major tours. Especially wince WoO was basically nothing but for a while.

Hows about Hudsen Oneal ? Maybe he would step it up just one notch into the winners circle more often ? ?
