Default Hoosier tire problems world 100

How in the World do you have soo many blown tires at Eldora without contact? I mean we saw more guys hit the wall with the right front from blown tires than I could remember seeing. Was it an Air Pressure Problem or Camber? Or was it the rocks and a soft sidewall?

We definitely need a Hoosier bashing thread. Don't seem right without one.

Pc of junk tire, crews pushing the limits on camber, speed of the place and banking. The sprint car guys have pretty much called out Hoosier and have said the tires are garbage.

This is what happens when corporations buy smaller companies, the quality takes a dump. Open Tire rules are better in my view, competition keeps companies more honest and you get products and better racing. JMO

Purple Mafia. They don’t need to provide quality. You’ll run them or not run at all.

It’s hilarious that some of you think ARs that barley hold air is somehow going to make Hoosier better. Both companies provide garbage, but then again the forces on the tires have increased tenfold over the last decade.

dirt racing is such a niche market that i dont see any other major manufacturer even having an interest in it. Between them getting sold, corona and the universal tire rule theyre garbage now

I personally never mentioned AR, only an open market. Competition is a market force that can influence quality and price in positive ways. The way things are now Hoosier has no need to stay on top of things and since AR is mostly shut out of the market why would they try harder? This is why Socialism/Fascism/Communism in society at large and in sports, ruins things, they have no motivation to make the customer happy because the customer has no options. Its also why Crate racing is a bad idea in the long term. Competition, Competition, Competition.

Tire rule, lol…..they should be able to run any brand, type, compound they want.

Then others will step up and make them.

It won't matter the tire. If a teams starts winning on a consistent basis with a certain tire company everyone will switch to that tire. Monkey see Monkey do.

The only companies making tires for dirt late models are Hoosier and AR. This idea that an open rule would entice new manufacturers to get in on dirt late models ignorant of dlm history. Up until like 5 years ago, the WoO late models had an open tire rule everywhere except UMP tracks. The opportunity for somebody else to jump in on the action was there, in much fatter economic times and still nobody new jumped in.

Hoosier and AR both build garbage. Open tire rules aren’t going change their ineptitude.

Bobby Allen came out and said many competitors were complaining about the tire in the outlaw tour. Brad Sweet also added concerns beyond what Bobby A had said.

Hoosier puts to much product into pts at tracks everywhere. I believe the Big Block mods run AR's

In big blocks, the SDS runs Hoosiers and the STSS runs AR and the tracks associated with each sanction follows those rules for their weekly stuff.
