    Default Lucas oil championship

I really think it won't matter when they reshuffle points for the top 4. RTJ is just so strong when it comes feature time. It doesn't matter where he starts either. With his superb year I say he will come out on top. Jmo

100 laps at Eldora, doesn’t matter where you start. Hopefully it will be a good race. Would be a shame if he doesn’t get the championship after the year he has had.

But Thorton on the front row at the start gives many nightmares!

Assuming the DTWC is a points race, is it mathmatically possible for Devin Moran to win the championship and fall behind McCreadie or Overton to 5th in points? Like McCreadie wins the race and the top four all wreck on lap one.

If someone other than Thornton wins the championship, that person won't give up the money but they ought to givre him the trophy!

Hudson O’Neal won the most recent 100 lapped there. One would have to think he’ll be just as spry this time around, but Davenport has to be the favorite.

Or a sinkhole opens up in turn 3, swallow up the field except for Johny Huck and he goes on to win.

You have to pick the top 4.
    RTJ
    JD
    HUDDY
T-MAC, he's found something in the last couple races.

Now, what drivers out there that can upset these 4.

T-MACS new car is working better but not where it needs to be. He still finishes 5th in points.

For sure. That's the inconsistencies you get with a horn. These teams can make changes that they know what should work. When you get a car that doesn't respond to changes you previously knew worked it can be demoralizing.

That would be the honorable thing to do but I don't see that happening. . .

Those supporters are truely the ones in that party condones the " Everybody gets a trophy " mentality that was displayed in the NASCUS racing series? I see a Bubba Wallace type token in their future !

The best payout format would have been to pay the 6 survivors that were still rolling after 100 laps. Split the $ amongst those 6.

I figured Shepp would be there at the end. He usually runs pretty decent in the rough conditions.

Why do you count the points all year if you are going to do this I have always said if you took the point money and spread it out thru the field nascar don't need points they don't have anywhere else to run

Devin Moran told us if we don't like the format, go find another hobby or something. Thanks Devin. The format sucks. Now to see what other hobby is available...

The team with the best record in football or baseball doesn't always win the Super Bowl or World Series. Whats the difference? I like the idea of the format, but think it could use some tweaking.
