Default Health care workers need another lucky strike too…..

Oh boy, time for the next round of extortion from the health care unions……wonder what’s not good enough with the last deal they negotiated that wasn’t good enough.

Just quit already, the auto industry needs good workers…..oh, wait.

The left is taking the main purpose in healthcare of saving lives and the actual best treatment, to a government ran focus of depopulation. It is a bad time in our nation to be getting old and being confident of getting real health care.

Working in healthcare is changing as many college grads are not devoted to the real values of healthcare. One has to be careful what you say to doctors these days or you might become a listed person to the government itself. The right to own guns comes to mind for example.

The Hippocratic oath can’t stand the mighty dollars pressure…..and greed, lots of greed gets in the way of good honest health care.

It’s the best reason I know to stay as healthy as possible.

Did anybody go back to work yet? Or is greed and selfishness still in charge?

Haters don't really hate you, in fact they hate themselves because you are a reflection of what they wish to be.

I’ve read that one already…..love how they claim millions of patients are benefiting because of more staff available but gloss over the striking slugs benefiting from the 20+ percent pay increase they extorted from the folks they work for.
What’s funny to me is all of these workers want in on the profits the ceos are making but none of them want in on those same profits they are forced to pay the union bosses to work……that’s the cash cow here.

wouldn’t have a problem with it if the working force you speak of actually worked harder to get their raises instead of quitting on their patients and extorting by proxy……..do you think the union bosses worked for strike pay during this? Shouldn’t they?

I don’t expect an honest answer but feel free to throw something out there that resembles the truth.

And fwiw….this deal they just made and are thrilled with won’t stop them from striking again when the bosses need another Mexican vacation paid for by someone.

Health care costs are already through the roof. But that's the citizens problem, right.

Wonder how many extra patients died this time because the health care workers walked out on their patients? For money.

There is a real racket that was the creation of a combination of things. One being a lot of hospital execs who are not physicians but pure bottom liners and another being Covid.

Hospital execs made some moves to temporarily improve their bottom line which were good for them, but not necessarily patients and staff.

The other thing that happened during Covid was they let go of a lot of staff who objected to the mandatory jab. But then to back fill those positions they hire temporary travelers. A whole bunch of doctors and nurses are traveling "locums". The health care facility my wife works at hires a lot of locums.

I recently spoke with an ICU nurse who was working for $28/hr at a hospital. When he seen what locums were getting paid he quit and became one. It can go up to $7k for a 4 day stretch and $10k for a 5 day stretch at these temporary assignments. The hitch is you have to take a period of 35 days off during the year in order to keep a tax exempt status. There's that and you have to travel for work and frequently relocate. Plus, most of the places that hire you could care less about vaccine status.

So that's how health care execs are keeping costs down. Get rid of staff and replace with temps at nearly ten times the cost. Wonder why health care is so affordable. It's a racket.

Here is some good advice. Do your best to not get sick, don't trust your persciptions without researching them and don't take them at all if your can find alternatives.
