Default Bloomquist racing Atlanta Speedway in 1991

Found this going down a youtube rabbit hole. Bloomers 3rd start in a ARCA series race that year. Started 28th and finished 29th.

If you go to the 44:30 minute mark, you'll see Scott spin and crash out of the race.

Great find. I enjoyed watching the video. I learned things about the race at Atlanta that were quite surprising. I never knew Trickle drove a race car for the legend Junior Johnson. Trickle put Junior Johnsons Ford on the outside pole of the Atlanta ARCA race. Dave Mader was also in the race.

Didn't Ray Cook run an ARCA race at Talladega one year?

Ya , back then ARCA was a place low funded racers could run to get experience on Super Speedways and have a chance to win.

John Gill's bad crash at Atlalta in 1996. Early in the video the crash. ARCA race.

Billy Thomas #22 involved in that crash with John Gill as well. A lot of bad crashes in that year's race!

How about Kevin Gundaker in the early 80's at Daytona? As they are attending to him another car wipes out the medic... bad deal there. I am fairly sure Moyer tried the speedways; Tom Hearst said he could not convince his foot to stay flat on the pedal- wasn't for him.
