28th annual Powell Family Memorial Next on the Schedule

LOUDON, Tenn. (10/09/23) – Cory Hedge (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) continued his winning ways on Saturday evening with a $10,000 triumph in the Fall Classic at Kentucky’s Lake Cumberland Speedway aboard his W.E. Hardscapes & Masonry / Noble Knights Construction Services / No. 23 Currin Construction / BMF Race Car / Eagle Racing Engine Late Model.

Cory’s 15th win of the year came in dominant fashion at the challenging oval with a sweep of qualifying, his heat race, and the main event.

“We changed up our original racing plans late last week, and it proved to be a great decision as we banked $10,000 at Lake Cumberland (Speedway). My guys are kicking ass and making it simple for me,” Hedgec ock noted. “We are going to take this weekend off as the rest of the year has some big time events, and we want to be ready.”

Entering his Eagle Racing Engines No. 23 Pro Late Model into battle with the American All-Star Series presented by PPM, Cory Hedgec ock ventured to Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.) on Saturday evening for the Fall Classic.

With 43 Late Models entered, Hedgec ock set the bar in time trials with a blazing 13.905-second lap before picking up a convincing heat race victory.

Surviving a pair of late-race restarts, Cory led flag-to-flag in the 60-lap feature to claim his 15th win of the season and a $10,000 payday.

He took the checkers 1.610 seconds ahead of Logan Roberson with Zach Sise, Dustin Linville, and Hayden Cardwell rounding out the Top-5 finishers.
