Wendell Wallace Puts Exclamation Mark on 2023 Season with $10,000 Triumph!

(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Wendell Wallace put an exclamation mark on his 2023 campaign on Saturday evening, October 14 by winning the 7th edition of the 'Race for Hope 71' at the nearby Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas! After finishing thirteenth on Thursday evening in the first IMCA Modified prelim feature of the weekend and sixth on Friday night, Wendell rolled off from the eighth starting position in Saturday's 71-lap grand finale. The popular driver known as the "Batesville Bullet" then blitzed to the front of the talented field, led the last ten or so circuits in the contest, and picked up the $10,000 payday for besting a top five that included runner-up Tim Ward, Jacob Hobscheidt, Jeff Taylor, and Zane DeVilbiss. In a limited season for the #6M team, Wendell racked up five feature victories, five Top Fives, and six Top Tens in the eight races that he entered.
