Dennis Erb, Jr. Eighth in Final World of Outlaws Points; Ventures to Senoia for Peach State Classic

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series season wrapped up in a big way from November 1-4 in the 17th Annual 'World Finals' at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. Following the qualifying sessions last Wednesday, a pair of $15,000 top prizes were up for grabs the next two nights at the Charlotte-area speedplant. On Thursday evening, Dennis Erb, Jr. narrowly missed out on the 35-lap feature event after placing sixth in his heat race and third in his B-Main. In Friday's similar showdown, Dennis ran fourth in his heat race, won his B-Main, and later finished twenty-first in the final rundown of the 35-lapper.

With a $25,000 payday up for grabs on Saturday in the series finale, Dennis grabbed the third and final transfer spot through his stacked heat race and later started the 50-lap headliner from the inside of the ninth row. At the checkers in the contest, which was held in front of a standing-room-only crowd, the Carpentersville, Illinois ace found himself in the eighteenth finishing position. When the points were tallied, Dennis was eighth in the final version of the WOOLMS standings for the 2023 season. Friday’s weekend opener will boast a $20,000 winner’s check, while the finale on Saturday will pay out a whopping $54,054 to the victor.

Dennis comes into the double-dip sixth in the latest version of the Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series point standings.
