i like them both lurker , but crappie by far is my favorite , I like to catch a mess of big slabs and fillet them , then fry them up in zatarans southern fish fry , nothing in fresh water fish tops that .....

That doesn’t sound horrible….back in the day it was with a scoop of homemade peach ice cream on top and then mixed in when it melted….a spoonful of condensed milk on hot cobbler is stupid good.
