Brayden Watson Set to Pilot Redline Chassis House Car During 2024 Season

(BEDFORD, INDIANA) Brayden Watson and Springville, Indiana Open Wheel Modified builder Redline Chassis are excited to announce today that Brayden will pilot their House Car during the course of the upcoming 2024 racing season! The combination has proved to be lethal, as Brayden stepped into the #91 in August 2023 and went on to amass seven feature wins and ten Top Five finishes in only twelve starts. The late season success helped propel Brayden into capturing his first Modified Track Championship at the famed Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana.

For 2024, the team tentatively plans to start their season two months from today - Saturday, March 16 - at Paragon Speedway in Paragon, Indiana. The Open Wheel Modifieds will pay $1,000 to win during the annual running of the ‘No Way Out 40.’ From there, Brayden and the Redline Chassis team will put together a busy schedule that will see them racing all over the Hoosier State, as well as to tracks like Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois and Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. One lucrative show that is already circled on the calendar is the inaugural ‘Illinois Dirt Shootout’ at FALS from May 23-25, which will culminate in a 60-lap headliner boasting a $20,000 first place prize.

“I can’t thank Colin and Nathan Voorhies enough for all of their support and I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel of their car again in 2024,” quoted the twenty-one-year-old Watson today via telephone. “When we crashed our (family-owned) car at Florence during the North/South 100 last August, they really stepped up and we had a great ending to the season together. The Redline Chassis car was bad-fast everywhere we went and we were able to win seven races at three different tracks - Brownstown, Putnamville, and Circle City. I’m honored and privileged to be able to drive their equipment and hopefully we can have the same type of success this coming season!”

Brayden would like to also thank his dad Steven Watson and Byron Ray for their dedication in turning wrenches and prepping the car this off-season. The team is looking for additional marketing partners heading into the 2024 season, but would like to acknowledge their current list of valued supporters including: Redline Chassis, Hanner’s Barber Shop, Lineal Contracting, Turner Contracting, Architectural Stone Sales, Wendy’s of Bloomington, Hoosier HVACR - Dave Elliott, Black Belt Racing Supply, BoldFlight, Main Trailer Sales, JW Excavating and Hauling, M2 Designs, TopSide Marketing, Mimi & Poppy, Delph Communications, Flag2Flag Media, Jared Bailey Racing, Wehrs Machine & Racing Products, Jerovetz Racing Shocks, Swift Springs, K1 Race Gear, Slab Road Outdoors, and Landon Barker Graphics.

This Saturday night, January 20, Brayden will be celebrated as the 2023 Open Wheel Modified Track Champion at the Brownstown Speedway Awards Banquet. Doors to Pewter Hall in Brownstown will open at 5:30pm with dinner at 6:30pm and awards to follow. Additional information can be located by visiting www.BrownstownSpeedway.com.
