Thumbs up New owners at Ohio's Jackson County Speedway with Brad McCown as promoter.

New owners at Ohio's Jackson County Speedway.

From the track Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/JacksonCoSpeedway

We would like to announce with excitement! Jackson County Speedway is being purchased by Blue Collar Enterprises LLC. The Speedway will continue to be promoted by Brad McCown as we strongly believe that Mr. McCown is the perfect fit for helping us bring this awesome track back to life for Southern, Ohio! We wish you all could witness first hand how hard Mr. McCown has worked already & the dedication he’s shown in order to provide more than we ever thought possible in a short time to those on and off the track!

It is a priority for us to turn this track into a family friendly atmosphere that all can enjoy with us! We are focused on considerable revamping the property over the weeks to come & providing a fun positive atmosphere where those behind the wheel can race their hearts out & those in the stands can make awesome memories with their favorite fellow race fans!

This is exactly why we were not focused on promoting ownership change as we just want to focus on the positive future of this track & creating the best experience for all.

We look forward to seeing you all at the track - let the fun begin 🏁

The Conkel family + Harold Beasley
    Nathan Stephens

    Next Race - TBA
    2024 Season: 3 - Brownstown (IN) 1, Farmer City (IL) 1, & Kankakee (IL) 1

Brad did a good job at Atomic when he was there. His downfall came from the sprints when a driver made contact with the backstretch wall and the series loaded up and left. All the sprint series blackballed the track and they had no choice but to send Brad packing. New Atomic team has since made amends and the sprints have returned. Good luck to Jackson Co. returning.

Thanks for the update, I always wondered what happened there. First he announced he had a partner, and then he was gone.

From what he told me last year while I was talking to him, he kind of got rooted out at atomic. He let an investor own more than half of the share of the track, then got basically got pushed out when Vest showed up wanting to buy the track. He wasn't real happy about it, but he said that's how business works sometimes.

Jackson could be a really bad ass little race track if the work is put into it. The location is probably the biggest downfall of it.
