Default why so many early season breakups in 2024?

are owners just not realistic with expectations? expenditures? is it drivers doing the leaving for silly reasons? it makes no sense imo for so many early season issues....

I considered asking same question couple weeks ago. The whole Rocket1 deal was quite a shock.

I would say many different issues. Car owner expectations I imagine are high on that list. Personality conflicts, lack of speed, too much aggression, poor decision making ability, etc, etc. Perhaps a person can tolerate a situation for a while, then they get time off and when they return they find they no longer wish to tolerate the situation. Maybe a driver has speed, but bounces off of a few too many things. Maybe the car owner is a tyrant or the driver is immature or both. Life is short and even if you have a high paying job it doesnt mean you like it or want to do it for 20 years.

Idk about Tony's situation, but Shane said from the beginning that he would run some races.

    Car owner expectations..

Starting a national tour too soon, unprepared, lack of experience.

He run good against some of the best in the LOLMS last night. Being familiar with the track helped alot, I'm sure.

As a wise man once said, the easiest nut to change on a race car is the one in the driver's seat.
