Cade Dillard Racing Welcomes Cypress Big Tex Trailers
Three-Race WoO Southern Swing Next Up for Louisiana Racer

ROBELINE, La. (04/17/24) – Cade Dillard Racing is proud to welcome Cypress Big Tex Trailers of Woodworth, Louisiana on board as a new marketing partner for the 2024 season.

“We’re very appreciative to have Brandon Butler with Cypress Big Tex Trailers joining our team as a marketing partner. We are a family-based team, and they are a family-based business, so we share a lot of the same morals and principles, which make our partnership a natural fit,” Dillard said. “We’re off to the best start to a season that we’ve had in a long time, and having great sponsors like Cypress Big Tex Trailers only further helps us achieve our goals. I greatly appreciate their support, and I hope anyone who needs trailer products and services will support them.”

Cypress Big Tex Trailers has been serving Louisiana and its surrounding states for over 24 years. As a family owned and operated business, Cypress Big Tex can give you that small town, friendly feel that bigger stores can’t. The founder, Jimmie “Jimbo” Butler, passed away in 2005 but had a huge love for dirt track racing. Jimbo owned and operated a successful team of dirt Modifieds under the name Big Tex Racing in the early 2000’s. Cypress Big Tex has continued to sponsor select drivers to carry on Jimbo’s passion for the sport. Current Cypress Big Tex sponsored drivers are Talan Willis, Joel Couvillion, and Cade Dillard.

Today, Brandon is heading the father-son joint venture, and Cypress Big Tex Trailers has been allowed to experience substantial growth to become one of the top trailer dealers in Louisiana. They were honored to receive the 2022 Big Tex National Dealer of the year award in early 2023. Cypress Big Tex is currently a dealer for Anvil (enclosed trailers), W-W Trailers (cattle/livestock trailers) and Big Tex (utility, equipment, gooseneck, tilt, and dump trailers).

Cade was in action over the course of last weekend with his S&S Fishing & Rental Inc. / Production Jars No. 97 Longhorn Race Car / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model in Illinois with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series.

The 2024 Illini 100 was held at Farmer City Raceway, and Cade kicked off the doubleheader at the ¼-mile oval on Friday with a $10,000-to-win program. After setting fast time in his qualifying group, Cade won his heat race to earn a spot in the redraw for the feature, where he received the pole position. Racing in the Top 5 throughout the finale, he ultimately crossed the finish line in third behind Nick Hoffman and Bobby Pierce.

Action continued on Saturday with a $20,000-to-win program. Preliminary action positioned Dillard ninth on the grid for the 60-lap feature. He went on to advance to an eighth-place finish.

Dillard currently sits fourth in the latest series standings, just 36 markers removed from the lead, heading into this week’s triple header.

On Thursday Cade will compete at Thunderhill Raceway Park (Summertown, Tenn.) in a $10,000-to-win event. From there the action slides south to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for a doubleheader.
