Default Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park - Elkin, North Carolina 5/3/24--HTFSDS Event

Several Lucas guys showed up since Lucas race got rained out. Now raining at Ultimate. They got little over half the cars qualified, then the sky opened up. In rain delay but I have my doubts.

Have a tractor out turning surface over and packer cars rolling it in. I'd guess hour or so of this, then they cancel.

Edit: old-school discs behind tractor. He's running right against the fence. Let's see if does whole thing.

Oh man...calling 604 crates to come out and sling the slop off. Lower 1/2 of track is still a swamp.

Maybe just camera perspective. Makes track look really narrow.

Unfortunate turn of events. Tractor got into the wall and broke the J-bar.

Sounds like digging that asphalt up is paying dividends for the drainage at ultimate.…..we are watching Mississippi thunder. I’m going to that joint.
Excited to go to ultimate in June.

Re-configured my setup. Connected laptop to big TV so can still type stupid stuff here from the PC. Need to buy a new mini-PC and move this mini-pc to big TV.

Huge wreck on front stretch. Think Bloomer got drilled head-on. I mean DRILLED! Of course they stuck their head in the sand and wouldn't look, turned camera away, after. Eventually said everyone was OK. At least half-dozen cars totaled. Bloomer got crossed-up, possibly broke, and turned into wall before flag stand. Then it was a Nascar plate race wreck.

    Bigly.
