Got a message last night saying that North Georgia Speedway will infact be opening for the "2011" Season. This is some more good news.....if anyone else is hearing this also please post it here.
That does not surprise me at all. I think Papermen should be hired by either North Ga. or Tri-County to do PR. He has a lot of contacts and would be a real asset to either track. I would add Sugar Creek but we never know what is going to happen there.JMO
Visited the track today. Graders were there.. Clay to be there Monday. Info will be on net Monday. Two practice sessions in March, first race in April.
Be nice to see North GA get that open southern national date. Are we ready for some racing at good ol North GA i know I am. In the words of ol DW lets go Racing boys!!!!!!!
Can I say I told you so???lmao
I am glad to see that this has finally proved to be right, I knew it would lots of people said I was crazy,(I can't argue with that ) and I said just watch and see.... next time when the dr says it will happen maybe people will listen!!!!lmao

I do not like the fact that they did away with the econo hobby class and put in a boyds class . We were planning on running all season there but now I guess not we do not have enough motor to run modifed hobby he left the econo guys out in the cold the last race had 14 econo cars not even half that in modified hobby if I recall correctly it would cost a bunch of money for us and the econo guys to build a new engine maybe a weight break I do not know I am just real dissapointed that they did this.
no folks. NGS got a total of 152 truck loads of clay put in. The track was down to the bare bottom. Also, the track wall has been shortened because of this, even the back gate in turn 2 has a problem now. This will be an exciting year. everyone please come out.
